The love for the earth and passion for wine is the constant factor that has always accompanied the different generations of the Ferrari and Perini families. It is a sensitivity that comes from afar, which embodies antique, unchanging values, like respect for nature, constancy and the hard work of our predecessors so as to allow us to continue this wonderful craft of wine-making through to today. The most important moment of company development is marked by the establishment of Cantine Quattro Valli in 1952. The choice underlying our philosophy, also recalled in the name (which means “four valleys”), consists of the capacity to best represent the typical nature of the wines of the hills of Piacenza. Moreover, we produce typical wines of the territory, respecting the quality and tradition of our products, and international flavour wines that allow us to export the fruits of our work across the globe.
In the production, cutting-edge machinery is used, which allows protecting wine from accidental oxygenations or contaminations.
Headquarters is based in Montale, where it covers an area of approximately 5,000 square metres, 2,000 of which are covered by the production plant.
The production philosophy of Cantine Quattrovalli is to offer its customers an articulated choice of wines from Italy’s highest vocation areas; the rigorous principle and true cornerstone of the policy is to guarantee consumers that each and every wine offers an absolute expression of its territorial origins
Our cellar follows production criteria that are at the same time traditional and consolidated over time, but also supported by cutting-edge technology and constantly updated thanks to the great professionalism of our staff. In 2001 it obtained the quality certification UNI EN ISO 9002 while, in 2004, during the verification of renewal of the certificate, it passed to the last revision of the standard obtaining the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2000 certification. From 2016 it is BRC-IFS certified with the highest score.
